Toilet paper rolls are always available in any household but more often than not, they are thrown away. While there are already many ways we know of, to reuse these rolls, this craft is a little different from those. For instance, it involves more cutting, which can even make people wonder if this was made with toilet paper rolls in the first place. So, let’s get started.
What you will need:
- A couple of toilet paper rolls
- Hot glue gun
- Glitter (optional)
- Thread, rope or ribbon
Paint the toilet paper rolls with paint. For best results paint the insides as well.
Cut each of the paper roll into 4 or 5 equal parts, depending on how thick you want the flower to be. These will be the petals.
Form two edges by pressing down on opposite sides of each of the pieces.
Arrange the pieces to form a flower like shape and glue the sides together with hot glue gun.
Add more pieces between the joints of the previous pieces. Glue them in place with hot glue gun.
Step 6: (optional)
Keep repeat step 5 until the flower is as large as you want it. Decorate the flower as you wish with glitter or any other accessories.
Once it is all dry, tie a ribbon or thread through the top “petal” so that you can use it to hang the piece.
And that is it! You now have flower décor made from only toilet paper rolls. Try creating multiples of this in different sizes or colors and hang them together for a more interesting look.
