These cute little beach chairs are incredibly fun to make and take very little time. They can be used in terrariums or even doll houses. Since they are basically pieces that can be used as elements of other crafts, the ways to use these can totally depend on what you want. Let’s get started then!
What you will need:
- Thin wooden skewers
- Colored paper
- Glue stick
- White paint or marker
Cut the skewers into 3-inch long and 2-inch long pieces.
Be careful while cutting the sticks and hold both ends so that the pieces don’t fly out.
Glue one 3-inch stick to one 2-inch stick forming a ‘t’ shape with the joint being 1-inch from the edges of both the pieces.
Cut some more of the skewers into 1.5-inch pieces.
Take three of the 1.5-inch pieces. Glue the end of one on the joint, another near the top of the longer piece of the ‘t’ and the end of another near the top of the longer piece of the ‘t’.
Glue the other ends of the 1.5-inch pieces to another one of the ‘t’ shapes, making sure both the ‘t’ shapes are parallel to each other.
Now take the paper and cut a strip that has a width a bit shorter than 1.5 inch.
Wrap one edge around the upper 1.5-inch piece and another around the lower one, creating a slight curve.
You might need to test out the length depending on the shape of the frame.
Take the strip and draw 2 vertical stripes with the white marker. Once dried, glue the edges of the paper to the sticks as before.
Now you’re done! Enjoy arranging these adorable little chairs in different settings.
